Gwen began her career with the SuperValu corporation as the Manager of Internal & External Staffing. This role was just the beginning for a talented and hard-working human resources executive. Beginning her time with SuperValu, Gwen has held progressively greater roles with both small and large business, including RBC Dain Rauscher, US Bank, Geraty Investments, SuperValu (as Director of Human Resources) and finally her last role with a smaller manufacturing company in Baldwin, Wisconsin. Throughout her career, Gwen has thrived in a variety of human resources roles, but realized she could help more businesses with their recruiting, HR processes and employee development by founding Gierke Jungbauer Human Capital.
People are the biggest driver for Gwen, and she relishes the opportunity to help companies and individuals find that place for mutual opportunity. Like Geno Wickman’s Traction, she helps find ‘the right person for the right seat!’ Gwen understands that most business’s greatest assets are their employees and she’s committed to helping companies attract and retain their best people.
Gwen is active in a variety of causes and organizations and is an active outdoorsperson. She and her husband and three children and two dogs enjoy time together and helping others with their volunteer activities.
Walter began his career as an auditor for Touche Ross & Co (now Deloitte), one of the largest accounting firms in the world. He later worked for a media client for sixteen years, first as controller and later as chief financial officer. Walter held several other CFO roles before founding Jungbauer Consulting, Inc., a business offering fractional CFOs and Controllers to businesses with revenue under $100M.
Walter is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and past president of the Twin Cities Chapter of Financial Executives International, the preeminent organization for senior financial professionals. He served as an Adjunct Professor with Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota where he helped create the curriculum and taught the Capstone Course in the Masters of Accounting program.
Walter has served on several non-profit boards and committees and is active in his community and with his wife and three children.
